Accurate measurement is vital for quality control and production. Workshop Pro’s measurement tools let you quickly and precisely measure distances, angles, and positions, with smart labels and snapping to ensure your results are always clear and reliable.
How to use Measurement Tools
Select the measurement tool from the toolbar.
Click on model points, edges, or faces to create measurements. Smart labels will automatically follow your view and remain readable, so you never lose track of what you’ve measured.
Use intelligent snapping to automatically snap to corners, midpoints, edges, centers, face points, or rays—ensuring repeatable, trustworthy dimensions.
Use the origin probe to click a reference point and instantly see X/Y/Z offsets, eliminating manual math for stationing or fixture checks.
To keep your workspace tidy, click labels or lines to multi-select measurements and delete them in one go, or use the clear button to remove all measurements instantly.
These tools help you keep your canvas organized, reduce cleanup time, and ensure you always have the information you need at a glance.
Tip: Use measurement selection mode to quickly clean up after a series of checks, and combine snapping with the origin probe for the fastest, most accurate results.
