Efficiently selecting the right parts or edges is key to fast editing, inspection, and bulk actions. Workshop Pro’s selection tools let you quickly target exactly what you need, whether you’re working with crowded scenes or need to group similar items for batch updates.
How to use Selection Tools
Activate the selection tool in the toolbar.
Choose your selection mode:
Select by color: Click a part to instantly select all parts with the same color—ideal for batch-checking coatings or materials and making bulk updates.
Box selection (parts/edges): Drag left-to-right to select only items fully inside the box, or right-to-left to select all items the box touches. You can switch between parts and edges mode for precise targeting in complex assemblies.
Use these tools to quickly group, inspect, or edit multiple items at once, reducing manual effort and minimizing missed selections.
Tip: Use color selection to group and update all parts with the same finish or material in one go.
