Overview

Making informed decisions requires quick access to the right data. The Model Insights Panel in Workshop Pro lets you filter, group, and edit model data in real time, so you can spot outliers, analyze structure, and update information—all without leaving your workflow.

How to use the Model Insights Panel

  1. Open the Model Insights Panel from the sidebar.

  2. Use the Parts/Edges toggle to instantly switch between parts and edges data, depending on your current focus.

  3. Apply one-click presets to load common column sets (like Materials or Forming) for fast audits.

  4. Use the quick filter field to narrow results across the grid, or apply per-column filters (thickness, material, forming, etc.) for pinpoint accuracy.

  5. Group data by assembly, material, or status to see counts and totals, and use the multi-select summary row to view stats for your current selection.

  6. Edit fields directly in the grid (inline editing), and see changes reflected in 3D instantly.

  7. Use one-shot reset to clear all filters at once, and view tailoring to reorder or resize columns as needed.

  8. Take advantage of two-way sync to highlight selections in both the grid and 3D view, and rely on live updates to always work with current data.

These features help you analyze, update, and organize information quickly, reducing manual work and minimizing errors.

Tip: Use grouping and roll-ups to spot gaps or outliers at a glance, and inline editing to fix issues in one place.
