Overview

Quickly verifying part details is essential for quality and coordination. The Part Info Panel shows all relevant information for selected parts—including type, dimensions, forming, welding, and more—so you can spot mismatches, confirm specs, and communicate clearly with your team.

How to use the Part Info Panel

  1. Select a part in the 3D view or grid.

  2. View details in the Part Info Panel, which is organized by tabs or sections:

    • Selection-aware summary: Shows key fields for one or many parts, highlighting shared and differing values for fast comparison.

    • Type-aware sections: Only relevant sections are shown for plates vs profiles, reducing noise and making it easier to find what matters.

    • General: See part name, model version, type, plate thickness, profile dimensions/length, and material for quick identity and spec checks.

    • Sorting: Sort by assembly or builder to know where work sits and who’s responsible.

    • Plate details: View stocksize for plates to align cutting or procurement.

    • Profile details: Confirm correct pick and cut planning with detailed profile info.

    • Forming: Validate forming readiness and constraints at a glance with form, form mold, forming, and former info.

    • Welding: See structure, weld markings, and printsides for clear shop-floor instructions and fewer reworks.

    • Upload data: Export STEP, upload layer/name/color to trace geometry origins and resolve issues faster.

    • Live refresh: Values update instantly when changed elsewhere, so you never review stale info.

    • Clear counts/states: See selection count and hide empty sections for faster reading.

These features help you check specs, spot issues, and keep your workflow smooth.

Note: Use sorting and filtering to focus on the most important attributes for your current task.
