STEP 1. Review model issues:

Use the preset "Scan results" to review the remarks in the model. Remove parts that are not validated and update them in your engineering software, use the Add button to add the updated parts.

Scan result remarks:

Remark description

Solution

Incompatible part

Evaluate part. Geometry can be replaced with ''Remove'' and ''Add'' functionality. Or geometry can remain in the model as reference objects

Plate does not look like a plate

Can be processed as a profile object

Plate inconsistent thickness

Make sure the thickness offset is constant

Plate unsupported thickness

Make sure plates have a thickness of 1mm or multiplied by 1mm

Plate seems kinked

Bend plates need to be modeled with a radius

Rule of thumb for 90ยฐ bend:

  • Aluminium;

    Ri = 3 x plate thickness

  • Steel:

    Ri = 1 x plate thickness

Plate unable to validate bevels

Onepush can recognize bevels on planar plates without holes. For any other plate part remove the bevel from the 3D object and add the code manually in the viewer

Profile not valid

Onepush support will force the missing profile type

Profile unrecognized type

Onepush support will force the missing profile type

STEP 2. Customize

You can use the presets and the navigator tree to add all necessary data to the model. When a preset is selected:

  • the Navigator is set to specific dedicated groups

  • the parts are Colorize accordingly

  • the Info panel is set up with the corresponding data

The model is ready for production when all necessary data is added in the presets described above.

Customization checklist

Follow these steps to optimize your building package

๐ŸŽ›๏ธ Model settings

  1. Choose build number

  2. Fill in weld pattern [premium markings]

  3. Fill in full weld level [premium markings]

  4. Primary crossing full distance [premium markings]

    โœ๏ธ Annotation settings

  5. Profile annotation format

  6. Grid annotation format

  7. Plateinfo annotation format

    ๐Ÿ“‹ Setup part info

  8. Part detail: Choose plates, profiles, and markers. Choose materials and add comments Check object types; plate/profile/marker >>

  9. Sorting: All data used for logistics, such as builder, assemblies, and departments Add builder >> , Add assemblies >>

  10. Welding: Setup structure types and custom weld patterns on part level, more info here Classify structure types for welding >> [premium markings

  11. Plate details: Review marking sides and choose parts that need to mark on both sides Choose print sides; single/double >>, Check and flip marking sides >>

  12. Profile details: Review all profile material at once

    ใ€ฐ๏ธ Forming

    Forming: This preset filters out all planar parts. This makes it easy to choose which parts need to be formed and need a forming mold

  13. Choose forming preformed/on-site

  14. Add forming company for preformed parts

  15. Choose mold type for preformed parts

    ๐Ÿ”Ž Detailing

  16. Overlength: Add overlength, on multiple edges and parts Add overlength >>

  17. Bevels: Setup bevel and chamfer codes, on multiple edges and parts Add bevels >> [premium markings]

Navigate to "Model quote" in the menu bar to start the production of the building package.
