How to use Clipping & Cross-sections
Open the Clipping panel from the sidebar.
Drag the X/Y/Z sliders or enter exact values to create cross-sections along any axis.
Use helper guides to see exactly where the cut lies, ensuring everyone sees the same section.
Enable clipping-aware rendering so outlines, edges, and shading respect cut planes, resulting in clean, accurate section screenshots for daily notes.
Click reset to instantly return to the full model view.
These tools help you reveal interiors, perform precise checks, and document your findings with clarity.
Tip: Use numeric input for repeatable checks, and combine helper guides with clipping-aware rendering for the best documentation results.
