The orientation marker indicated what position and orientation a plate has within the model. This is very useful for sorting and assembling the parts on the production floor.

There are 2 types of orientation markers (per jul 2022): OP Drop (new) & Arrow (classic).

The type of indicator can be set in the setting pages under tab Marking & Annotations.

The OP drop is based on orthogonal views on the 'Onepush drop' shape.

The classic arrow type indicated the direction and orientation by angled half arrows annotated with letters to indicate the

arrow direction:

additionally the location on either side of the ship is indicated
