Revisions V1

As an Engineer in the shipbuilding industry, you know how important it is to keep track of the changes made to 3D models throughout the design and production process.

With the new Revisions feature, you can easily view and switch between different versions of a model, allowing you to keep track of all the changes made over time.

Model List Pages

On our platform, the version of a model is visible on all model list pages, including All Models, Project Models, and Company Models.

As an Admin, Editor or Viewer, you will be able to see the latest version of a model when you click on it, ensuring you always have access to the most up-to-date version. Additionally, to make navigating easier, our platform will only display the latest version of a model in the model list pages.

Model Dashboard

With our new Model Dashboard feature, Admins and Editors can create new versions of a model and switch between them easily. You can view the count of all parts in the current version on the Dashboard, allowing you to keep track of your progress and stay organized.

Model Settings

Our platform now offers a convenient duplication feature for all Model settings, allowing you to quickly and easily transfer settings to a new version.

Model Viewer

As an Admin, Editor, or Viewer, you can now see all parts of previous versions in the current version using our Model Viewer feature. Additionally, you can colorize and group previous versions in the current version, allowing for easy comparison and analysis.

Model Quote

Our platform now allows Admins and Editors to see and accept the Quote of parts of the current version only. This will allow you to produce the parts of the current version exclusively, streamlining your workflow.

Model Downloads

Our platform offers improved file-naming conventions for downloadable files. We now add the version name to the names of all downloadable files, making it easy to identify which version you are working with.

Additionally, we add the version number as a suffix of the Build number, making the version visible in the single DXF name and on the parts in the general marker.

You can now see the version number in the title of the xlsx files, such as the pallet and profile purchase lists. Finally, you will only see the parts from the current revision in the lists, ensuring you always have access to the most up-to-date information.
