Every shipbuilder knows the advantage of the reverse frame. The thickness of a construction part is set to the direction of the reverse frame. This way, the connection of the shell with the construction is easy to make.

Grid reverse frame value is measured from the base point of your 3D model.

The orientation of parts determines the side of the thickness direction.

For:

  • Parts perpendicular to the X axis, the farthest edge is taken

  • Parts perpendicular to the Y axis, the farthest edge is taken

  • Parts perpendicular to the Z axis, the bottom edge is taken

The thickness direction of markings are printed on each plate. Every plate marking line has a triangle curve form in the middle of the marking:

You can set the reverse frame in the Project settings.

The marking side of a plate can be set independent of the side from which the edge for the reverse frame is used.
